Beautiful Cagbalete Island

 I was amazed by the beauty of this place. I never expect that Mauban, Quezon has this kind of paradise.

An island  with white to yellowish fine sand and with cool breeze during the mid day. The water is so clear and its very peaceful not like the other typical resort which is very crowded.

 

I was searching the net for possible place to go this holy week. Then  I tried to browse google map then look in some of the pictures attached in the map and then i spot an island near Mauban proper. The island is called  Cagbalete island  I started to plan our itinerary. Our travel started at JAC liner Taft Terminal we ride a bus bound to Lucena  City Grand Terminal which Cost Php209.50 with 3hrs travel time. You can also ride a bus bound to Mauban but it has a limited departure schedule. Once in Lucena Grand Terminal ride another bus bound to Mauban (Php.64.00) it has a 1 hour travel time. Then go to aplaya or near Gat Mauban shrine in the town proper where the passenger boat bound to Cagbalete will dock near the sea wall   its has only 2 schedule of departure 8am and 12nn it cost Php 40.00 per head. If you didn't make it with the passenger boat schedule you can rent private fishing boat but it cost much higher(Php.2000-4000) just be on time to make it. There are resorts in the island that can provide you accommodation. There are 3 resorts the Pansacola resort, Villa Cleofas and the MVT Sto Niño. I recommend MVT the place is beautiful with cottage near the river and nice scenic view.
